VolleyTrack Terms of Use

In plain language

VolleyTrack is provided by HarpElle LLC. You are responsible for the match records you create and share, and for having permission to enter and share information about players. Subscriptions are billed and managed by the App Store or Google Play, and the Free plan shows ads. Connected features depend on internet access and third-party services, and AI-assisted content should be reviewed before you rely on it. VolleyTrack is not an official scorekeeping authority. These terms include important disclaimers and a limitation of liability.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and HarpElle LLC ("HarpElle," "we," "us") and govern your use of the VolleyTrack app and the volleytrackapp.com website (together, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be able to form a binding contract; if you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms.

2. The service

VolleyTrack helps you score volleyball matches, manage rotations and lineups, track statistics, generate reports, and share a live Spectator View. Core scoring works on your device; connected features such as sync, Spectator View, voice interpretation, AI-assisted content, purchases, and ads require an internet connection and may depend on third-party services. VolleyTrack helps you keep your own match record and is not an official or competition-authoritative scoring system. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. Your account

You can use core features without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for the credentials and sign-in methods you use and for activity that occurs under your account. Keep your account secure and let us know if you believe it has been compromised. You may delete your account at any time as described on the account deletion page.

4. License and acceptable use

Subject to these Terms, HarpElle grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service. You agree not to:

• copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where the law does not allow this restriction;
• resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our permission;
• use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, or share content you do not have the right to share;
• post harassing, abusive, hateful, deceptive, or otherwise objectionable content in Fan Zone or anywhere in the Service;
• interfere with, disrupt, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its security, or other users' data; or
• misuse match codes or share them more broadly than the team intends.

You are responsible for the accuracy and use of the match records you create. We may remove content or suspend or limit access to the Service if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

5. Your content and match information

You keep ownership of the teams, rosters, matches, statistics, Fan Zone posts, and other content you create ("Your Content"). You grant HarpElle a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display Your Content as needed to operate and improve the Service — including sharing the live match information and Fan Zone posts you choose to share with Spectator View viewers, and processing match information to provide voice and AI-assisted features.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to enter and share Your Content, including the names and statistics of players, who may be minors. AI-assisted outputs are provided to help you and may be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for reviewing them before using or sharing them, and human judgment remains yours.

6. Subscriptions, ads, and purchases

VolleyTrack offers a Free plan with feature allowances and in-app advertising, and VolleyTrack Pro, which removes those allowances and in-app ads. Purchases and subscriptions are sold and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and the price, taxes, available products, and renewal terms shown by the store at the time of purchase are authoritative. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can manage or cancel a subscription in the store account used to purchase it. Deleting your VolleyTrack account does not cancel a store subscription. Refunds and cancellations are handled under the applicable app store's policies.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services including Apple, Google (including Firebase and Google AdMob), RevenueCat, and AI providers. Your use of the Service through the Apple App Store or Google Play is also subject to those stores' terms, and third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that connected features will always be available, that data will never be lost, or that AI-assisted content will be accurate. VolleyTrack does not provide official scoring, and it is not professional, medical, or coaching advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HarpElle and its owners and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or twenty US dollars (US $20). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you, and nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold HarpElle harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your content.

9. Termination and changes to these Terms

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as content licenses you granted, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law — will survive termination. We may update these Terms as the Service changes; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will provide notice in the app or on this site. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
